I find the book quite unorganised in general as the author jumps back and forth between areas of advice, often within the same chapter. On one page she talks about integrity, then work attire (very conservative views I find) and suddenly about management style. Take-away points are hard to pin down as much as I like some of the advice.

Whilst advice on starting a business against the odds has been inspiring to me in the first half of the book, the author Janine hammers in traditional management-style business advice based on hierarchy with corporate words like “excellence” and “passion” in the second.

The third chapter however discusses an entrepreneur’s relationship/marriage which I haven’t considered yet. I never thought about involving my partner as they might be managing the household but beyond that purpose and family upbringing, I agree that partners also need bigger goals and a joint business could be that
