I’m struggling with this book because it lacks a clear conclusion ... personally kind of unresolved 🤔

...leadership takes place "among the people" ..rather than being "hierachical authority over them" 💥

Rather than stability obtained by each part living according to its worldly status, unity is achieved by the self-sacrificial behavior of the entire body, and especially the highstatus members. 🤔

As a result, there is a certain "equality" in that gender is not the primary qualification for discipleship.

In sum, women can be disciples, and thus like men are called to learn and to follow their teacher.

Most of all, Rom. 9-11 teaches that the gentiles remain "secondary grafts" onto Israel.

Hierachy was also present among Jesus's followers, where status was determined by the lenght and degree of each person's association with Jesus.

Paul warns that if anyone destroys God's holy temple, God will destroy that person (1 Cor. 3:17) Causing division in the church is a desecration of God's temple. 😥🤔

The Bible’s primary call to women is the same as its call to men: “Follow Me.” ... it's not about roles but Christ-like character 💓

Is more time and energy spent trying to establish male authority and leadership or wrestling with what that might actually look like since Christ talked about the first being last and leaders being slaves?
