The ending will make or break this book for me because, so far, it's on track to being my favourite Dennis Cooper book of all time.

I feel like the only person in the whole world who has read this book because what are the odds I'll run into someone who has? And what are the odds they'll admit to having read it? And what are the odds they'll even want to talk about it? And what are the odds they'll have loved it the way I do?

I'm already halfway through, and I already know that this is in my top 3 of Dennis Cooper's work.

I am really liking this alot more than Closer. The whole autobiographical aspect is so dear to me. That part with himself and Pete was one of the most tantalising things I’ve ever read. So devastating.

I just love how the words oscillate from mind to mouth and from mouth to mind
