Status Updates From A Arte de Viajar

An interesting premise but got boring after the first 100 pages or so. A common trend in Alain de Botton's books is that they seem to start off strongly and then just taper into nothingness. As if the author didn't have much more to say that was interesting, but was obliged to write 250 pages anyway. His trips are very 'vanilla' too.

Interesting concept, and started off with some interesting musings. But the book has become less interesting as it has dragged on...
