Status Updates From The Elocutionists: Women, M...

This is starting to grab my attention now. The language has settled dowm and the topics of elocution and music in battle and religion are very interesting.

I'm still finding the writing style burdensome and often have to remind myself to pay attention. I think I'll put this aside for a bit and come back to it later.

So far it's an interesting topic presented in a dry manner. It took a bit for me to realize why the writing style was difficult for me until I noticed the sentence structure. Almost every sentence is a string of multiple clauses, with spatterings of tiny quotes, often with - or ; for good measure. Hopefully I can get over it
