⏳Chapter 3 Ongoing. Done up to the section about clothes. Author is now presenting the recommended specific ways to handle items when tidying up. The respect and regard for the items we own sound animistic, a belief foundational to Japan's Shintoism and is portrayed even in modern films like Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away. The way the tips are written also reminded me of The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi

This woman is saying don't ball up your pairs of socks but fold them into rectangles. They need to "rest" while in the drawer. I'm not sure how everyone was obsessed with this.

I appreciate that while going over the method of throwing things out, she’s answering all of the questions I had about it.

This book is dropping some hard truths on me, but I’m going to keep going. This seems very important to learn.
