There is value in this story - it's important to recognize the creation of the gun market to better understand the American mythos related to gun ownership and culture.
I've had a hard time getting into this book and have just finished the section where Winchester assumes full control of his company and Colt's widow has built a church in his honor. It's a good place to put this book down. Still recommend.
