So far the play is very Bridgerton-coded. lots of gossip, matchmaking and secrecy. Characters like Jennings and Sir John provide a good comic relief that contrasts the Dashwoods and each of the sisters have clear distinctions and characterizations that kind of resemble Little Women. Interesting so far, although lots of yapping.
