Yesssssssss! This author literally never disappoints, and I am absolutely living for the Greek gods in the modern world here! I also adore Ti and his efforts to find Hades' sense of humor 🥰

Finished book 1 - Canines, Crosshairs and Corpses. Really fun introduction to the series and a great tale woven around some Greek mythology.

Continued: It could have done with more development, but I did enjoy the look at love and what you would do for someone you care for. How it's not always the answer, even if we wish it was and the ending is rather sweet with hope for the future.

Zack and Michaels story is bittersweet, they've been together for years when we first meet them and can tell they love each other so much from their interactions - the affection and protecting is beautiful. I probably wouldn't have read this one on its own, but i enjoyed more then I thought I would although it didn't grab me as much as the first story.

Well Hades and Ti are adorable pair, I loved theat they supported and helped each other with their situations. Both were struggling at the start and by the end find a happy ending together, I especially enjoyed the jokes and sarcasm that Hades just didn't understand - took things way too literally but by the end starts to get it. Admired Ti's growth and the comic books were such a sweet idea, Charon made be smile.

I finished the first story in the omnibus and Im torn. Im really enjoying the worldbuilding and the characters themselves (Charon ftw) but Im just not feeling the romance. Theres no chemistry and no reason for these two to be in love, so Im just not feeling it :/
ALSO why are Hades and Persephone both blonde and blue-eyed?? Theyre GREEK gods! Yknow what wasnt common in ancient greece? Blonde hair and blue eyes

No enemy but time:
So sad and dark. But the story seemed a bit confused. Fallen angels, Sumerian goddess, Gilgamesh epos.
I didn't think it had much to do with Gilgamesh/Enkidu at all, felt like a rather far-fetched excuse for motivation.
I liked Zagreus and Michael, though the author took some liberties especially with Zacks background, since he shouldn't really be Hades son at all.

The case was pretty irrelevant until the end and the relationship progressed a bit fast, but a fun, fast-paced read. I liked the depiction of all the gods and Hades is just a grumpy cutie.
