This is really an eye opening book. Such a simple way of explaining something that we are afraid of for no real good reason. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go search the mating call of the leopard slug.

This book is amazing. It hasn't gotten into any of the how to change things yet, but the explanation of how we are conditioned to fit someone else's ideas and how we not only repeat the same mistakes but also project those mistakes and emotions on others is fantastic. I also am intrigued by his theory that the people we pick as partners are not there to give us love for love, but to teach us to love without return.
