So much foreboding and so atmospheric… what a slow burn… waiting to see when Vaslya will get her talisman and what she’s going to do with it

I am so drawn and intrigued and cannot stop reading. Some of the characters are complex and multifaceted in a way, and our heroine I am just waiting for her to kick some butt.

I get the impression that Konstantin is a very complex and conflicted character. Have yet to see the author peel away his layers more.

Was also under the impression there would be more scenes between Anna and Vasya.

NOOOO ending the chapter (and this entire section) on that note should be illegal >:(

...Have a feeling that if Vasya does somehow manage to bring snowdrops back, she'll simply be carted off because there is definitive enough proof she's a witch in their eyes :\

It is... a bit unsettling, the pacing. It feels like everything has escalated so quickly in the past chapter, compared to the deceiving lull of the chapters before that.

...Not gonna lie, I'm not completely enjoying this anymore, but I will finish this series purely because I am still intrigued at the concept. ...Not because I want more Sasha and Aloysha and Morozko page time, certainly not.

...Okay, yup, Konstantin really makes me sick.

Needed to mention this somewhere before I forget to do so: absolutely love Alyosha, too. He and Sasya are the only two of Vasya's siblings I like (the rest are heavily debatable). I have no more sympathy to possess for Anna, and Pyotr is getting on my nerves. Dunya... she's fine, for the most part. And then Konstantin creeps the absolute hell out of me. And good riddance to Kyril.

How old is this man and please get him away from my sweet vasya

...why do I have this nagging feeling that Konstantin is in love with Vasya? idk what exactly, but something about his interactions with her unsettle me greatly.

Also boo, have yet to see Sasya return.
