*Sigh* you know, this book had so much potential, but even reading it almost 2 years later, and it still frustrates me. Kill is too sweet and lets Ax treat him like shit for far too long, with Ax therefore being selfish most of the time. So while the time apart was needed and healthy for both of them, I feel like it could've gone down differently and without most of the book being one, big misunderstanding. Gah.

Ugh, this book had so much potential, but it was all shot to sh*t with misunderstandings and just people acting like their feelings are the only ones which matter. My god I hated seeing Ax shoot Killian down for being there for her, when no one else was. Ax, sweety, you should be grateful for him. I agree that the time apart did them both good, but the reason why? Yeah, I didn't like or agree with Ax' reasoning :/

Huh, this is kind of bittersweet, cuz she's finally taking care of herself instead of expecting Killian to run and save her every time, but at the same time I don't get why she won't accept his help, as it sure is better than what Clifford has to offer her. And I could be naïve, but can't she just terminate it? I know the pill won't work, but she's making it seem like going back to ass-y Clifford is the only choice.

Yeah, I really didn't want to be right about this :/ And I have absolutely no idea how they're going to twist this to their advantage, but I'm sure Killian will think of something like he always does, while Ax freaks out and thinks irrationally. Honeslty, all I can think about is: this is yet another mess Ax brought on herself (sort of), and she, yet again, relies on Killian. Can't she take responsibility for once?

Wait, is she..? Could she be..? With Clifford of all people? O.O Or am I overinterpreting right now?

Squeee! he actually did it, and it didn't take 200-something pages for him, which it probably would've if it was up to Ax to tell him first! I've said it before, and I'll say it again; I love Killian and all his sexy nerdy-ness (who doesn't like a man who reads :3 ) and I love that he reached a point, where he realized he needs to look out for himself and not live half a life waiting for someone's approveal.

This back and forth thing they have going on is starting to bug me. At least Killian is starting to realize that while he'd do anything for her, her dating is not slowing down anytime soon, so he either needs to tell her the truth (which, let's be real, is not gonna happen) or move on, which I honestly think is what's best for them, so in the time apart they can admit they want more than friendship or stay friends.

I agree with Killian; she needs to grow up and start taking care of herself. Someday everything won't go as smoothly, as Killian won't be there to rescue and care for her. She's taking advantage of his goodness, and it bugs me that he thinks that's all he's good for, because he has a heart of gold and deserves everything. I love Killian, and if Axelle drags him through hell, I will not be happy.

I can already tell this book is going to frustrate the hell out of me, with Killian being the sweet and caring guy he is, who's just too afraid of ruining his friendship with Axelle, and Axelle being totally unaware of how much she's hurting Kill by parading a line of guys in front of him.
I just hope it doesn't take them the whole book, cuz I need them to get their HEA without too many obstacles. My boy deserves it.
