Status Updates From Overlord, Volume 1: The Und...

The intermission was the same as in the show just the show albedo and shalltear were much meaner lol! But I do love reading momongas inner monologue it’s fun to see him panic. Also I’m glad they told us why they were so scared… I just assumed because momonga was scary but it was because of the great weapon and his casual effect of fear that he didn’t know effects them. I think it’s so silly.

Chapter two and I’m doing great reading the main characters dialogue is amazing and he’s so much more emotional in the light novel than the anime. I’m curious is he is similar in the manga as well? Maybe I’ll have to read it to!!

So far is very similar to the show. But has much more detail on his inner monologue and npc dialogue. Plus the art and story is amazing so far. I got the book simply to know more details about the world and so far after chapter one it’s definitely worth the read!
