What the heck happened to Lydia??
In the first book, she was this impressive, brilliant woman whom Aleksander only characterized as a wolf and a harridan because she challenged him and was more than a match for him. In this book, she's a woman who reduces furniture to kindling when she throws tantrums.

This is very dark, when does his suffering end? This is not what I signed up for

Literally hate all the female characters in this book. Why are they all unlikeable?
