If feels like we're getting closer to the climax already. Everyone's stresses out and I'm not sure what's about to happen exactly, but the stuff is about to hit the fan, I know it!

Nomvula met Muzi and he gave her the concert tickets.
Is Sydney gonna massacre people at the concert?

Sydney is keeping Nomvula alive? I thought she wanted to kill her?

Well, now I know why the little girl on the front cover is smiling menacingly. Holy shit!

Oh, so everyone is descended from demigods and Sydney knew Mr. Tau?
So, Nomvula is the eagle, Muzi is the crab, Riya is the peacock, Stoker is the rat, and Elkin is the dolphin. But who's the serpent? Hmmm....

So Muzi is already tied to Sydney's story and Stoker to Riya's. But where does Nomvula fit in?

Starting to see how all the characters are connected already.
Also, I forgot that dik-diks are, like, an actual animal.

Really enjoying this so far, especially Muzi's chapters.

Great start so far! Quick pacing and good prose and interesting characters.
