That seems to be this book's weakness. It's so surface level on everything to the point of being generic

This story is improving, now that the world is being developed, the cast is expanding and that the protagonist is getting her footing in the world.

Serene's addition to the cast is really making this enjoyable.

The adventure is moving along briskly and the world is slowly developing, can't wait to see what happens next.

Not really enjoying the start, but slowly getting into it. Not a fan of the tsundere male lead.

So Rag gets to be all awesome and powerful and his name is well known and he's scary and even in his chibi form he commands all the power aaaand then then Kanon who should be more powerful than him is helpless and needs to be saved all the time etc. Like if they allowed her to have agency the whole story would be ruined or something.

She "went too far" isn't that just like women huh? always going too far. They should know their place!

And then she loses control of her power and needs a shitty male to snap her out of it.. OF COURSE.

Oh yay Rag smacks her in the back of the head because she's "too dumb to realize she's the Silver Siren"

Gods, why do they have to localized trash.

Of course he admonishes her for crying for almost being raped like the asshole he is. Why did they choose this shitty novel to be localized?

Here's the mandatory rape scene where Rag has to save Kanon from because she dared to run after Laut and Breit!

Kind fo tired of the woman rightfully talking back to the guy BUT SUDDENLY she says the wrong thing and is now all sorry and guilty and UUUGGHHhhhh....

Another thing that bothers me is the simple way the translator wrote this. Lots of words being repeated that could have been said a different way etc. Not that it makes it unreadable, but it really feels amateurish. Not something I'd spend $9 on.

So the lack of honorifics is very awkward. We have characters of similar age calling each other "Miss" which... no.

No you can't translate Japanese honorifics you just can't because -san doesn't mean Ms./Miss.

Ugh, just ditch the asshole. Why do women think assholes are romantic?

13 and already getting married to have a kid. =_ =

Lest to say there are no honorifics so it's confusing how much respect is being garnered. I've seen -san and -sama both bet translated as simply "Miss" That's why I want them.
