Status Updates From A Storm of Wings (Viriconiu...

I have a hard time figuring out why I like this, but I rather do, though I'm not really invested in the characters. Is it the prose? Cannot tell yet.

Didn't say this in the review for first book in the series, but a lot of this gives me 'inspired Tamsyn Muir' vibes... The giant insects in this one only add to the vibes... When I say inspired, I mean on the level of language and maybe a bit of imagery and concept of the world depicted :P
