It’s interesting so far. It reads very much like a Gaiman, but I loved the intro sequence in SC with Lamia. Practical magic vibes lol. Makes me want to read a bayou or southern witch story— maybe one slightly less malicious..? The format size of this book is bothering me more than it should, but I wish it was a normal paperback format and not wide like this haha

I'm in. It's got me. I am growing attached to the characters, curious about their progress. I usually always have a second book to start on standby, to keep my attention and interest engaged, though am eager to finish this one first.
