Die Familiengeschichten sind interessant, aber es kratzt mir alles zu sehr an der Oberfläche, vor allem, da die Briefe alle aus Zeitmangel enden.

Thematisch ein so wichtiges Buch, von dem ich damals schon viel gelernt habe. Ich würde mir nach fast 20 Jahren eine Aktualisierung wünschen, und hier und da mehr Moderation.

It is quite hard to have an idea about how are they living if you are so far away and with a few news about it. Thats why 'm loving this book so much, I'm learning a lot about them. Endeen I had to do a research -thank you wikipedia- to open my eyes and understand whats really happening. I'm going really slowly trying to take everything in.
