The writing style is very humbling and thought provoking about life, people, and restaurants.
I'm loving it. The first one to try at home was a toss between the broccoli or the battle of Shanghai! The battle of Shanghai won and was not disappointing.
As someone that likes exact details the only question I currently have is where is the recipe for the bread/subs??? Have I missed a detail in ingredients or other??

Okay, HUGE thank you to the librarian who recommended this book to me after she saw me check out a million other cookbooks. I find myself reading this so far with a notebook on hand to take notes for future reference, because there are several recipes in here I'd love to try. So far, I love the profanity, hilarious writing and genuinely creative sandwich recipes.
