“Did you notice that Jennie used Ruby’s notion of how to rewrite [Romeo and Juliet] to give us information about her misbelief about love?”
I’m sorry, Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy that ends in death. It’s perfectly reasonable to not want to rewrite it with a HEA. I’m starting to really hate the practice novel, and it’s coloring my ability to learn from this book.

Gonna be honest, it would be more helpful if the “example project” wasn’t such a cliche. AND, worse, the script WITHIN the example project is also a cliche! It undermines the efficacy of this methodology.

Interesting advice on finding a starting place. As a reader, I’m not sure I’m into it. It dumps you into the middle of the story without showing any lead up to the catalyst. I don’t care about this character yet, so why would I care if something bad happens to them?

ค้างอยู่บทเดิมมา 2 เดือนแล้ว..🫠 การทำความรู้จักตัวละครที่ตัวเองเขียน ยากกว่าการพล็อตเรื่องอีกนะค่ะ
