Status Updates From An Average Curse (The Chron...

Ah, now this is interesting but perhaps a bit young for me. I like a bit more detail, and there's so much scope in the mixed up mythologies (I'm seeing Pacific islands meets Western fairytales here). Probably a good read for the younger end of YA who don't mind the zippyness of that pace that keeps everything flowing but a tad shallow.

So far this book is pretty interesting. It may take me a few more chapters to get used to the weird character and town names but I am intrigued by the story.
