So enjoyed reading this book. It is an original idea, with a heroin that is strong but real. Can't wait to see what happens is book too.

there are no words for this book at this point. I can't tell you how confusing the writing is getting at this point, how increasingly juvenile this ridiculous chick is getting, and how suddenly the focus of an entire few chapters has been the ex vs. the new crush vs. the unrequited crush vs. the gay best friend... the lack of any other female in this book is astounding

why on earth can this girl not laugh without hyperventilating? And why does it require a man holding her on his lap and talking her through breathing then an entire aftermath of ice pack and pain reliever?! What does that have to do with anything and why can't she just breathe in a paper bag like a normal person?

Ok, suddenly a main character is suddenly using all kinds of British slang and phrases he didn't use in the first third of the book. And originally Alexis didn't have any idea this house was her family's house, but now she's taking about being in it before her uncle died?

I don't like this girl either. She makes 1Ls look bad. I was a first year law student once... This girl can't decide if she is mature and trying to wrap her head around a possible fling with a District Attorney and cusses like a sailor, or if she is an immature teen who says things like "this sucks dishwater", "crap on a cracker", and yanks out a hair tie to fix her hair at the lunch table in a nice restaurant

So far, way too much smoldering and not enough story. I thought about quitting it altogether when the first year law student went from trying to hide her passionate feelings for her boss to saying things like "this sucks dishwater". Who says that?
