Super flowery writing. I like his personality, but I couldn't befriend this guy. He is the ultimate "ocioso," with no political opinions and always in the mood to party. I think he might be the kind of guy who wakes up in the morning just in time to take a nap. Still, I'm enjoying imagining myself walking in the Berlin of the 1920s. The book is immersive enough for that.
