This scene is getting sketchy.... Like, it isn't spicy yet but it's almost there... so I'm DNFing this book. (I also flipped through the book a little bit to see if it gets sketchier to know for sure if I should DNF and apparently the book ends with a spicy scene?! 😑😭💀 So yeah, definitely DNFing and unhauling this book... 😭)

I read "Alfreda" as "Alfredo" at first and was wondering why someone would be named after a pasta dish in a historical fiction book 😭😭

Kudos to this book for having the female lead be crazier and more problematic than the male lead. That's fun. She's never beating the poisoner allegations

AHSVVDJDJ I've never related harder to this "callous, cold-hearted" male lead than when he walked in to find this protagonist had found and brought a WHOLE WOLF into his house
