I loved reading this in the run up to Christmas! An easy read, but a read that drew me in with cosiness, christdingles, pine scents and log fires.... everything that is the glossy magazine version of a Country Homes Christmas. A short story that went in the direction I eanted it to, that for once, had no hidden agenda, no deep philosophy...sheer indulgence to savour with mulled wine and mince pies.
