I’ve slogged my way through 86% of this book; still may shelve it as DNF because I can’t take another page of statistical jargon. The story is shocking but the author has failed to make the information accessible. The only thing keeping me going is that the title of the last chapter hints that someone got “run over” - I just want to see if that’s a figure of speech or if an actual automobile was involved.

The author referring to Eliot Spitzer as a coxswain is the most unintentionally funny part of the book so far! 😆
