“government run schools in democratic countries being in the hands of politicians and government bureaucrats inevitably become propaganda factories” is an absurd take 🤯 the reason why public schools in poorer areas perform worse than public schools in affluent areas is because there are often more students in poor areas - the same funding and resources for higher students will create that gap 🤡

They note how raising the minimum wage disproportionately affects black youth as they’re likely to be poorly educated / in poverty and therefore more likely to commit crime
how about you increase the provision of quality education so these things don’t happen 🤨

If you think reliance on church and charity to fund low income earners and unemployment is a good system I think your argument and expectations are flawed

The strong pro-capitalists here are so funny because they say the communists are out to control you but then disagree that children deserve free and safe education

The main qualm I have seen here so far is not socialism being the problem but selfishness - people work for greater personal gain but fail to see the benefit in community which leads to a lack of effort and personal downfall
