Some of this book is charming but I genuinely hate when smart characters are written poorly . Writer: this character is a genius
Character is portrayed as a wizard with random medical knowledge in disconnected field
Character lacking extreme critical thinking skills and doing the dumbest most impulsive actions the next that doesn’t make any sense given what we know about him

I like this book because it tackles the idea of how different the United States can be for people who are from a different culture or environment.
