Read the first 2 stories. Easy in the Islands & Dead Reckoning. Both are very good & give a flavor of life in the islands. Some things may seem bizarre, but life in the islands is different. I have fond memories of the outer Islands in the Bahamas -the 1st story captures the loose structure of things.
