Enjoying this so far. I'm kind of enjoying how the main character starts looking, using the technologies at hand. There's a "Bicentennial Man" tension of how closely humans in this 'verse are already approaching the tronic themselves (optional digital interfaces implanted in their temples, a rather antiseptic-looking illustration aesthetic that makes the real people look a bit robotic, etc.)
