Status Updates From Life Is for Loving

If you are offering a gift at the altar then you remember: your brother had something against you, leave your gift there and go first be reconciled with your brother then come after your gift. Because “prayer that is closed to the forgiveness of transcendental love is a mockery.”

“To forgive means to pass from judgment to understanding. It is turning from dealing with life at the surface with its differences and slights and injustices between people, going deep down into the world of spiritual insight, touching the underground stream of love where we can now with Emerson I am my brother and my brother is me.“

The first step of forgiveness seeing wholeness, and allness, see with eyes of love. It doesn’t come easy especially when we have been hurt by the actions of others. It is difficult even in minor slights of life, when the wrongs end in tragedy. the way to forgiveness is hard but necessary.
