I hate knowing things bc wdym a historical romance novel mentions Cinderella and I get immediately taken out of the story bc there wasn’t an English edition of Grimm’s Fairy Tales until 1823 and this is set during the Napoleonic Wars

god i would die for camille. i love a heroine with a *big* personality! idk if it’s just the books i’ve been reading but it’s always the hero who gets to be the interesting one (at least for me). i wonder how mean she was in the first book lol.
