Loving every minute of this book as they explain the nuances of Hugo's life and world that shaped the novel.

Really enjoying this book so far. Not only describing how the book was written and how it fit within Hugo’s life journey, but it also opens up themes and symbols of the time that I missed during my first read of Les Miserables. I look forward to exploring these concepts upon a re-read.
