After a while, social anxiety begins to get you down. If it interferes with doing the things that you want to do, and with being the sort of person you would like to be, and know that you could be when with others, it brings a whole range of other feelings with it. One may feel demoralised or depressed as well as anxious, or angry, and resentful that others find so many things that for you are seriously difficult.
