Status Updates From Turning the Page

On pause. I don't really like the characters yet. They are supposed to be grown men but they seem rather juvenile, grieving aside. I have lots of other books to read so we'll see if I have time to come back before the loan expires.

Ugh. I hate how friends and family tell someone they need to "move on" and "live." Grief is powerful and can't go away by will alone. Time and time and help and time and time and understanding and time and time. How dare anyone say 20 years of love and partnership can be forgotten with 1 year of grief.
