This book is about a fucked up dude who manipulates everyone around him and also it's about lush descriptions of Italian furniture and food and scenery and fashion and art and whatever. Basically I hate it. It's very evil and very gay. I know I should save this for my actual book review but I think I'm going to speed skim the rest I just haaaate it ugh

This is really stressful and I am not enjoying it. But I want to see how it ends. But I know Tom doesn't die, because there are three more books about him. Sigh. Ugh
