Amazing story. Despite being a classic, Morgenstern's writing is surprisingly good and almost reads like a children's book. HOWEVER, and this is my only complaint, Goldman decides to spend pages 1-38 talking about his history with the book (this is counted towards the actual book, the STORY itself starts on page 39), then when the STORY itself ends, Goldman writes 28 pages about the story's epilogue, then the ending.
