The book ' Hundred Percent ' by Karen Romano Young resembles ' It's Not The End of The World ' by Judy Blume. In my opinion, these books are similar as they have the same genre ( tween/ teenager realistic life ) and a similar plot. In these two books, there are two main characters who are best friends, most of the drama or action takes place in a classroom and the protagonist tries and fixes the conflict .

In Hundred Percent, the protagonist is Tink. Throughout the book, she starts to build up her confidence and becomes her true self. Most of the time, Tink usually follows behind her best friend Jackie like a dog following a bone but Tink starts to become more independent. At the beginning of the book, Jackie decides to re - name her best - friend Tink and this annoys her but makes her become her own separate person!

A significant moment in Hundred Percent is when Bushwack is suddenly kind to Tink and less obnoxious . Bushwack is a character known to be annoying as you can also tell by his name. Usually, he shouts in people years and teases them is class but as soon as he's in 6th grade he matures. This is slightly strange to Tink as she has known Bushwack since preschool!

On page 159. Really really don't like this book, but I'm not letting myself continue in the Grisha trilogy until I finish it, so.............

On page 70. Wow. Is it just me or does no one else find this book relatable at all?
