- Madison is gutsy asking those questions. The way she kept asking even after she sensed she was right was just dumb though. Do you want to get hurt?
- Tom is very slow on the uptake. The majority of this book has been about waiting for the penny to drop and even after we have the info dump Tom is still acting like a dummy. Get with the program!
- Despite how annoyed I sound, I actually am enjoying this!

- My last update had me speaking a moment too soon because literally two pages later the sleeper assassin came out to play. And by play I mean murder!
- Tom and Madison so better happen. It’d be even better if she’s actually somehow involved in all of this and isn’t going to be there just to support Tom or help him.
- Tom isn’t the only sleeper agent. Now we know how they’re activated but how do they reach Tom?

- I’m reading this for task 3 of the TBR Challenge on my MG group. The cover isn’t fully red, but I’m still counting it.
- The author and the protagonist have the same name! Strange.
- I wonder if there’s a link between narcolepsy and epilepsy because Tom’s sleep attacks sometimes include thrashing.
