Status Updates From The Fall of Butterflies

Here’s where I started skimming. NGL that subplot romance flopped.

I took a day off due to traveling for my first full Pride festival (which has been really fun, let me tell you). Willa’s starting to understand how Remy’s so compelling, but her vanishing act is a prolepsis of what may be to come. TBD if this becomes a skim depending on how fast the plot moves.

It was in fact my grad town’s Hoppa that had the e audiobook for this (although lacks chapters compared to Frost Like Night). Portes’s biting humor is still working for me, but we’ll see how the plot unfolds given Willa’s already building up to a quasi dramatic end.
