loving this – holds breath and crosses fingers that it’s going to be a keeper

Despite the ( for me) little plot hiccup at the beginning, I'm really enjoying this one!

I had to read the prologue 3 times to make sure I was understanding it correctly - the hero Raul's best friend Bastiano, at age 17, had an affair with Raul's mother that inadvertently led to her death in a car accident. And so Raul has considered Bastiano an enemy ever since. I don't know, I'm kind of squicked out about the whole idea of this 17 year old teenager being with Raul's mom....
