This fmc has to be rage bait, MMC is a rapper and she says THIS about the rap genre: “I can’t make out half of what they’re saying, and once I know, it’s all bitches and hoes and slurs. It’s just not music to me.”
But she’s then saying MMC is not like other boys because he’s a “different breed, he’s a poet”.

Like yes, male rap isn’t always the best but maam sit your white ass down rn WHAT?!

I’m sorry did I just read her say “I lift a brow at his ethno-arrogance”?!?

KR what is happening right now? Is this supposed to be a romance? What is going on? Mind you she says this to him after he explains to her that yes hip-hop, jazz, blues and R&B have deep roots in West Africa and belong to Black people but it’s cool for others to sing in it. And she calls THIS arrogance? She’s so ignorant I- omg

I thought I was reading a prequel to a romance story. Why am I reading Miss White Girl (fmc) talk about how she doesn’t think black people should say the N word and disagreeing with the reclamation reason and just being stereotypically weird asf. I’m assuming she’s supposed to be unlikable right now so that she works through her shit in the main duet?? But her love interest is a Black man I- what is happening?
