Status Updates From Velvet

didn’t get to know her (and care about her) and I think it’s a shame. The story was fun! But I’d have loved more “heart” in it. I mean sure, it’d done what it set out to do but I can’t help thinking it could’ve been much more than a fun spy adventure. The stakes could’ve been so much higher! It was enjoyable for what it was. I liked the art too. 3(3.5 at most)/5 stars.

It was Director Manning! I don’t know what to feel about this reveal. I feel disappointed because it was too obvious (I ruled it out so quickly) and the end felt a bit anti-climactic to me (I know there will be more to her story but for now it wasn’t satisfactory). No way it’s Director Manning, right? I mean, I figured it was weird that he’d be dead when he was only shot in the shoulder and hand but he can’t possibly be the one who orchestrated all of this…right? Oh no.
