Status Updates From Killing Season, The

Infuriating book and narration!! It's in a hurry. The narrator delivers everything as slightly menacing, there's little variation for voices of different characters and there's a lot of players to keep track of. The writer whacks in bits of info from other cases, about the town, about the person and then switches to something unrelated. Some snippets area sentence or two before the switch. It's so confusing.

My second attempt. It's short but it tries to pack a lot in. I got totally lost the first time. Might be a day time book but will see how I go.
