Okay, I’ve been sticking with this in hopes that this will turn around. Story line is interesting but the romance aspect wow, I hate this. I keep hoping Jamie will screw on his head and ditch Ben but it’s not looking good.

Crime/investigation aspect, going well, keeping me hooked.

Who in the world is the love interest? Is there going to be a huge time jump in the story? How are we coming back from here? Ahhh!

ihni who james is going to end up with, & idk if i wanna check the future books in the series to spoil myself. ugh, it'll probably be ben, but the more i read, the more i don't want them to end up together. i don't WANT to see james corral ben into monogamy. also i think the author is trying to make ben seem sinister.
