Status Updates From Ariah

Forth time he randomly ran back into someone he knew.

Ok I gave up but it stuck with me last night. Trying again. Who knows.

The second time he randomly ran into a friend in a strange city. So unlikely that It takes me out of the story. I’m just being grumpy now.

So I am definitely intrigued by this world and want to see where it goes but dang ariah is getting annoying. Whines too much and sh*ts on everyone around him despite said people providing all the moral support possible. Oh and all his needs are taken care of. Food shelter money and he has the luxury to just pursue his learning. Must be nice.

Not saying this book is perfect but it is dang good

Very slow paced. But I. The right way. With characters I like and want to follow

Could do with a glossary haha. Reminds me of the goblin emperor.
