Status Updates From Le notti bianche

Damn…

Ya el inicio del 2do capítulo me ha gustado, como Nástenka (porque sí, ya sabemos su nombre) expresa que “no le conoce en absoluto”. Me gusta como él no deja de decir su nombre. La forma en la que habla él es realmente “pomposa” y sin ningún tipo de dudas habla como un soñador, aspecto que no tengo claro si me gusta. Él vive recluido y por lo que llevo de lectura parece ser por humillación social.

Me está gustando mucho como está escrito este libro. Me ha encantado como en este primer capítulo se personifica la ciudad, los edificios. También me ha gustado mucho como a través de los diálogos entre ambos personajes podemos ir conociéndolos (sin que haya una descripción detallada de cómo son). Él siendo un soñador y un intenso, y ella estando nerviosa, miedosa inculso, por la interacción.

Falling in love over a thought. Telling someone new about this to someone who is obviously obsessed with you, might be something cruel. But she was in love, actually in love.

I do still expect myself to hold the same judgement regarding his quickly-formed feelings, on how could he fall in love or for it to be considered love when he barely knew her yet.

However I want to figure out for myself if it’s a mere depiction of human nature, where one mistakes limerence for love. Or else..

Now that I’ve lost the sense of pretentiousness a teen has; where I’d but have an opinion about any and everything, I must contradict or else I wouldn’t be taken seriously - or so what I believed it to be necessary- as well as the sense of know-it-all.

Once this all taken from the equation I could say I’m enjoying it more this time w no rush to make a critique bout it (;

I’m enjoying the writing this time round, and I find myself immersed in the depicted sentiments more than the story itself- which to be fair haven’t started yet- I believe the first time I read it I was anticipating the wonder, of which everyone who’ve recommended me the book, has been cheering about.

It escaped my judgment however, that it was Dostoevsky nevertheless& that i enjoy nothing more than his style!
