Amazing to have a dream such as going to Oxford and then doing whatever it takes to make it happen even if you are unsuccessful twice. An inspiring story! Also the move from oneself to focus on inspiring and helping others is admirable. This book really does make you believe that anything is possible. Thank you Athol for sharing your story!

Very sad reading about Athol's dad passing away. Losing a loved one is never easy. Happy that Athol decided to come back to SA and start up his own consulting firm otherwise we might have never met. Taurus Associates was an amazing company which Athol built, touched by his commitment to his staff. Running your own business is tough. Although Taurus closed, the spirit of 'doing the impossible' lives on.

Such incredible determination despite all the massive boulders Athol faced to get to MIT. Love his will to pursue excellence at all costs even if it meant being homeless in Boston for a while. It takes courage to follow your dreams, and hard work to make your dreams a reality. Really inspirational!

Loving Athol's dilemma around choosing between a fully paid scholarship to LSU or an unfunded MIT MBA. Oh the tension! :)

I'm not particularly a fan of autobiographies, but this story is really interesting. And since I've met Athol in person, it makes it even more interesting. He is an example of following your dreams and achieving them.
