Status Updates From Tao Te Ching

XVI : "Returning to one's roots is known as stillness. This is what is meant by returning to destiny. Returning to destiny is known as the constant. Knowledge of the constant is known as discernment. Woe to him who willfully innovates. While ignorant of the constant, But should one act from knowledge of the constant One's actions will lead to impartiality."

VIII : "Highest good is like water. Because water excels and benefiting the myriad of creatures without contending with them and settles where none would like it to be. It comes close to the way... in quality of mind it's depth that matters... In affairs it's ability that matters. In action it is timelessness that matters."
